SENAIDA (pronounced shuh-nay-duh) is a Hakka-Canadian transdisciplinary artist, producer, and DJ working between New York and Berlin. Rooted in the underground scenes of both cities, their practice moves across club music, sound design, and experimental performance, always anchored by a clear focus on experimentation, inclusivity, and forward motion on the dancefloor. Their sound is bold, imaginative, and driving, with high-energy, hybrid, and genre-defying sets that draw from a wide range of contemporary and classic influences.

Their musical foundation is grounded in years of classical training as a concert pianist at the Royal Conservatory of Music, which informs both their technical control and their understanding of harmony and phrasing. Alongside this, SENAIDA trained as a sound engineer under Grammy Award–winning producers at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, developing a detailed approach to tone, dynamics, and mix architecture. This combination of formal training and hands-on studio work shapes the way they build DJ sets, original productions, and sound installations.

SENAIDA’s innovative debut album, KUNST KAPUTT, won the international AI Creative Future Award 2026 and was featured in Mixmag Asia. The project reflects their interest in the relationship between human expression, machine systems, and contemporary club aesthetics, positioning them as a pioneer within a growing wave of artists working at the intersection of electronic music, technology, and art.

Recognized as one of Asian Tones’ “Ones to Watch 2026,” SENAIDA has already established a strong international footprint. They have toured in over 25 countries, including the USA, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Greece, China, Colombia, France, Belgium, Thailand, and India, bringing their sound to a wide range of clubs, festivals, and independent spaces. These experiences continue to inform their approach to pacing, intensity, and context across different dancefloors. SENAIDA has shared the stage with renowned international DJs including Cadzow, KX CHR, Sulk, Secret Cinema, BUN.Q, and JIALING.

In addition to their solo work, SENAIDA is the founder of WE ARE THE FUTURE!, a collective and label dedicated to spotlighting future-facing underground artists and communities across the globe. They have built their sound as a resident DJ at XPIZZA and Groundless Factory, using these platforms to test new material, support emerging talent, and build long-term relationships with local scenes.

Their presence also extends to independent radio, with guest mixes on stations such as Refuge Worldwide, Operator Radio, HKCR, No Signal, and Baihui. They are also the host of Zeros + Ones, a monthly radio show which has broadcasted on WNYU 89.1 FM and Subtle Radio. Across these appearances, SENAIDA showcases both club-focused sets and more exploratory selections, highlighting the breadth of their listening and curation as a cyberfeminist scholar and archivist.

Outside of music, SENAIDA is the founder and CEO of Cyberian, a tech startup dedicated to using music neurofeedback and biofeedback as a medium for wellness and transformation.
